Personal Finance Carnivals


This week I participated in two personal finance carnivals; The Commemoration of Frugality #136-Summer School in Edition, hosted by Student Scrooge, as well as the Readies Hacks Carnival #23-It’s gotta be the shoes! hosted by Can I Get Flush on a Salary.

Student Scrooge put a fun twirl on this week’s carnival submissions by organizing them into customary school subjects.  My article, “24 Ways to Set free Around the House” was featured under the Environmental Realm category.

PERSONAL FINANCE - Natural Gas Prices

Unlike oil, gas has not traditionally been a globally traded commodity. Most gas historically has moved by pipeline so it's a regional market. So, for example, North America was one market connected by pipelines and Europe another. LNG is starting to change that because gas can be shipped anywhere in the world where prices are most favorable. So, for example, if gas prices are higher in the EU than the US, more LNG flows to Europe.
